CA Billing is looking to add to our growing medical billing company. We specialize mainly in the Behavioral/Mental Health industry. The position we are looking to fill is for a Full-Time Utilization Review Specialist. A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a UR Specialist is required. Here are some of the additional job requirements we are looking for.

Job Description:

• Ability to be aggressive in advocating on behalf of our facilities to insurance carries
• Ability to communicate effectively with clinical team to understand treatment needs of patients
• Always communicate in a professional manner in both verbal and written communication internally and with our facility’s
• Being focused throughout the day while staying organized and maintaining attention to detail
• Able to manage a minimum caseload of between 30-50 patients
• Work collaboratively with insurance providers
• Be proficient with using various EMR software
• Exceptional customer service and both verbal and written communications skills
• Must be a team player and be willing to multitask
• Must be available to handle reviews after standard business hours as needed
• Attention to detail and must be organized
• Must be proficient in Excel, Power Point and Word (experience with Salesforce a plus)

Required Education

• One-year experience as UR Specialist required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
